You will then select the pharmacy most convenient to you to collect your prescription from. After completing those easy steps, book your consultation with one of our fully registered GP's at a time and day that works for you. The doctor will ring you via audio or video call at the agreed appointment time, so ensure you are available and have a stable Internet connection if it's a video call. The doctor will ask some questions to understand your request and, if they are satisfied, will fax and post your prescription to the pharmacy you have preselected. You will then be able to travel to the pharmacy at a time that suits you to collect your medication, which will have been selected and made ready for you to collect. Shortcuts that serve you This services allows you to beat the queues. Say goodbye to long waiting times in a doctor's surgery, then standing inline again at the pharmacy waiting to be served and for the pharmacist to fill the script. The Prime Medic services short cuts all these steps and converts them to an online system, where the doctor contacts you at a time you have requested. They then send your prescription to the pharmacy for you to simply pick up when it suits you. There are never been such a straightforward way to get a prescription online or an online medical certificate! The cost per prescription is $19.99. Requirements to be aware of include your location. Our licensing means that we can only serve patients that are within Australian borders at the time of the tele-health consultation. We cannot help clients that are outside of the country at the time of the call, even if they are Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents. We can however, help all people within the country, regardless of what visa they hold. This means that anyone within Australia can take advantage of our services and it does not matter if they are on a tourist visa, work visa or an Australian National.
